First, let me introduce to you: Kelly Kluve my dear friend and big interior fanatic! With the launch of LaChanna 2.0. I told you that I was going to start working together with other creative girls to create more content suitable for my readers. From interior, style, food and trends different kind of subjects will be highlighted on LaChanna. I asked Kelly to give input for LaChanna on interior, where she kicks of with a great interior and local craftsman event.
Be Inspired! Written by Kelly a recap of the day:
Last Sunday I visited the Local Goods Weekend Market in Amsterdam Oud-West and I have to say, what a beautiful way to end my week! This Market took place in the old tram depot now known as De Hallen. I fell in love with their combination of raw industrial architecture and the wonderful local products that where sold. All products are purely made or designed in Amsterdam. And well, Amsterdam has some great entrepreneurs and designers!

There were many brands with beautiful leather goods such as de-vi (www.de-vi.nl) and Monsak (www.monsak.nl). But also nice interior design products for instance Lot nummer 75 (www.lotnr75.nl) they sell design products that are made from vintage finds. And last but not least the amazing jewelry with brands Like Essa Design and ISH jewels with their handcrafted treasures. With all this beautiful stuff I couldn’t stay empty handed for to long! I immediately fell in love with the products from Essa Design and bought a nice handcrafted necklace and a ring.
Of course, I couldn’t go home without visiting the Foodhallen that is also based in De hallen. Here you’ll find the tastiest things you can imagine. From steak sandwich to homemade spring rolls and even the finest wines, it’s all there, in one place. So one thing is for sure, I didn’t go home with an empty stomach!
The next Local Goods Weekend Market will take place on Saturday, November 8. Are you planning to go to the next Local Goods Weekend Market?
